Android Zero Touch: Device Enrollment with MDM

How Zero Touch Enrollment Works?
Let’s see the step-by-step process to enroll Android Devices on Scalefusion with Zero Touch

Before you begin:
Ensure that you have an account on Zero Touch Portal. All the devices purchased from an authorized seller can be added to this account. You can also add future purchases into this account.
Make sure you have an account on Scalefusion. Log in to Scalefusion dashboard and complete the steps given below.
1. Create a profile
Navigate to the Device Management section of the dashboard. Start creating a new profile. Add restrictions, allow or block applications, and websites and complete the profile setup.
2. Create a QR code configuration
Now that you have created a profile, proceed to create a QR code configuration. Choose the profile created in the above step and apply it to the QR code configuration.
3. Move to mission control section in the dashboard. Click on Android for Work Setup. Start configuring Android for work. You will be navigated to the AFW portal
4. Setup your AFW account. Add the business name, the EMM provider will appear here by default. Add business information and complete the account set up.
5. Now, navigate back to Scalefusion. Your Android for Work Setup will be completed.
6. Click on Create configuration. Here, add a name to your Zero Touch configuration. Add the QR code configuration created in the previous steps.
7. Once you have added the configuration, you can start setting up the configuration for the Zero Touch portal. Copy the configuration code generated by Scalefusion. Click on Complete setup to proceed.
8. Here, you can find the login link to the Zero Touch portal. You can also find detailed steps to complete the configuration at this step.
9. Now, navigate to the Zero Touch Portal and login to your account. Click on the configuration section in Zero Touch Portal. Here, click on the plus symbol to add a new configuration.
Add configuration details, EMM provider, paste the copied configuration in the DPC extras and add company details in this step.
Click on the Add button to save the configuration.
10. Apply configuration to devices. You can add configuration to multiple devices by simply selecting one from the drop-down.
The devices will be configured into your chosen policy configuration. Whenever the device is first powered, it will be locked into pre-configured policies and apps allowed by the IT admin.
